CHEMICAL For WATER TREATMENT

The processes involved in removing the contaminants include physical processes such as settling and filtration, chemical processes such as disinfection and coagulation and biological processes such as slow sand filtration.

A combination selected from the following processes is used for water treatment

● BIOCIDES
Control microorganisms growth to prevent deposit formation that contributes to fouling, corrosion, and scale.
● CHELATING AGENT
Substances to bind and control metal ions because they can eliminate the hardness of water.
Dissolvine function: Prevent deposition, Control metal, Reduces the toxic effects of metals.
● CORROSION INHIBITOR
Protect metal part by filming all metal surfaces whether anodic or cathodic and reduce corrosion by interfering with the corrosion mechanism.
● DEFOAMER / ANTIFOAM
Reduce and tackle the problem of foam in the system.
● EMULSION BREAKER
are a class of specialty chemicals used to separate emulsions, for example, water in oil.
● OXYGEN SCAVENGER
Absorbing dissolved oxygen to prevent corrosion problems in the system caused oxygen attack.
● ORGANIC COAGULANT
For certain water sources, organic coagulants are more appropriate for solids – liquid separation. Generally, organic coagulants are used when sludge generation is desired. Furthermore, blended organic and inorganic chemicals are often more effective than either organic or inorganic coagulants alone. The correct blend can often combine the advantages of using the sweep-floc mechanism of the inorganic coagulant with the sludge generation characteristics of the organic coagulants.
● SCALE INHIBITOR
Prevent scale formation by keeping the scale-forming minerals and not allowing the crystallization process to begin then modify the crystal structure of scale, which significantly reduces the speed of growth of deposit.
● SHALE INHIBITOR / SHALE STABILIZER
Specially engineered additives is designed to inhibit reactive shales in water-base drilling systems and reservoir drillin fluids. Our shale inhibitors are designed to enhance drillability while maintaining low toxicity for environmental acceptability.
● SQUESTERING AGENT
Squestering agents are chemical substances which can bind with metal ions in a solution. The combination of squestering agent and the metal ions forms a stable, water soluble complex.
